Learn to make your own artisan handcrafted soap. Handmade soap is mild and nourishing to your skin and when you make it yourself, you know what's in it.
This is not melt and pour soap - this is cold process soapmaking with lye and fixed oils. If you've never tried handmade soap available at farmer's markets and craft fairs, you're probably wondering why anyone would spend $5 on a bar of soap. Try it once and you'll be hooked!
Supplies are easily found locally or online and creating your own makes each bar economical. It makes a wonderful gift for men, women and children alike as well as being a decorative accent to any decor.
This class is 2.5 hours with a demonstration and lecture, free samples, recipes, 20 page instruction booklet and resource listing. This class is not appropriate for children due to the caustic nature of the materials used in making cold process soap.
