Ann's "Lynette" Bag
This super easy-to-construct bag is a great introduction to purse-making for beginner sewers. You'll learn the basics of bag construction as well as appropriate stablizers for different types of bags and fabrics.
Some sewing experience is required for this class. Students must be able to thread their machine, fill and change the bobbin and sew a simple seam.
This class is 3 hours.
Fees:
Group class (2-6 people) $30
Machine rental $10
Stabilizers fee $5

Supplies needed:
- 1/2 yard of home dec weight fabric or denim for bottom and handles
- 1/4 yard of medium weight woven for top band (a fat quarter will work)
- 1/2 yard of medium weight woven for lining and inside pockets
- 1/8 in. elastic or elastic hair band for closure
- Large button or several smaller buttons to stack for closure
- Matching thread
- Size 14 or 16 Denim sewing machine needle
